You can beat Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair in its free demo – but only if you’re good - rasmussenalwainter45
It's not often I get on to fully editorialise in the news program, but since we every bit a site didn't get to say it close year, I'm going to say it now: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Den was one of the best games of 2019, and if you've got any be intimate for 2D platform games, you owe information technology to yourself to check it out. Luckily, developer Playtonic is making that much easier with a free demo set to set up this week.
The demo will launch connected Steam on January 23. (Switch and PlayStation 4 versions follow on January 30, and the Xbox One date is "TBA.") The summation on Chirrup suggests the demo includes a handful of canonical levels, a gainsay stage, and united of the stage transformations, which suggest that you'll see a commonsensible ball of the advance game – with "atomic number 102 time throttl."
The fun part is that the exhibit will include the titular Impossible Den. That's the first level you undertake in the crippled, and the ultimate dispute at the conclusion. Every normal level you complete lets you take an extra hit in the Impossible Den, but you can tackle it at any fourth dimension. As the name implies, the Impossible Lair is no jape, but you can theoretically outsmart the stake just through this demonstration.
You just have to be as good Eastern Samoa a speedrunner. Crack out the world record below, if you need both stirring.
If you kept up on the 12 days of free Epic games terminated the holidays, you might already own Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Den, as IT was the final title in the holiday promotional material. (IT's dear, you should play it.)
